Participants in EPIC's first robotics class "Fun With Robotics" assemble their "runner robotics."    The class was held March 26, 2026.        

Spirit Night fundraiser - June 8!

City of Madison launches great new rec programs!

Six New Programs

The City of Madison Parks and Recreation Special Needs Program is launching new programs that build friendships, spark creativity, support families, and provide fun, inclusive experiences for people with disabilities of all ages.

Social Explorers for ages 6–17

  • An after-school social group where kids and teens can build friendships and social skills through fun activities — with or without a caregiver present.

Adult Art Club

  • A creative space for adults to explore different art mediums and prepare pieces for our upcoming displays. 

Social Club for Adults

  • A weekly hangout for adults with disabilities to connect, build community, and enjoy activities together in a casual, welcoming setting.

Sensory-Friendly Swim

  • A calm, inclusive swim environment with reduced noise, fewer crowds, and warm lighting — ideal for individuals with sensory sensitivities.

Respite Nights

  • Parents & caregivers can take a well-deserved break while participants enjoy a safe, fun night of games, crafts in a safe environment.

Family Meet Ups

  • Monthly Saturday gatherings where families can connect with others in the community. Activities vary, but fun and support are always on the agenda.
